Journaling is Self-Care was born to make space for voices like ours — messy, sacred, and so damn human.

My original dream was never to be the only voice here. I always wanted a chorus — women telling the truth, sharing the healing, and helping other women stop saying “I’m fine” and start saying “I’m alive.”

That dream is finally showing up in beautiful, grounded ways — mentorship invitations, community collaborations, volunteer work that fills me up, and now… you.

How I Do This Work

Everything I teach and create comes from practice — not perfection.

Daily journaling. Embodiment. The tiny rituals that anchor you to your truth.

When you consistently show up and write the truth down — even the messy, embarrassed, half-finished stuff — the nervous system starts to rewire. You start to see yourself differently. And the world starts giving you receipts for the healing you’ve done.

This is how I live. This is how I lead. And this is how I want to collaborate.

You don’t need a fancy byline or a writing degree — you just need something real to say.

Whether you’re a woman who journals her way through chaos, a healer with stories that move souls, or a writer who’s been too afraid to hit “publish,” this space is for you.

I don’t give a damn about credentials. I care about truth — the kind that makes a reader exhale and whisper, “same.”

We’re gathering essays, reflections, and practical how-tos that fit the Journaling is Self-Care voice: raw honesty, spiritual practice, and usable tools.

If you write from the inside — memoir flashes, ritual steps, mini how-tos, or journaling prompts — this is your invitation to share.

As someone who freelanced for 10 years, I know how hard it can be to build a portfolio when you’re just starting out. Having your work featured here is a beautiful way to add a published piece to your body of work (and be part of a brand with heart).

✏️ Submission Guidelines

  • Length: 400–1,500 words
  • Focus: What will your piece deliver to the reader — healing, ritual, reflection, or a journaling prompt?
  • Tone: Real over perfect. Grounded, soulful, a little rebellious.
  • Editing: Should be ready to post — good grammar and spelling. Anything that needs heavy editing will be declined.
What to Include with Your Submission:
  • Pitch: A short pitch + how your piece will help our readers
  • Attachment: 400–1,000 word piece (.doc or .docx)
  • Optional: 1–2 short bios and a headshot

Selected pieces will be featured on the site with:

  • Editorial feedback
  • Promotion across our channels
  • An invitation to our mentorship pilot program
